Ping G15 Driver: Innovative and Stylish

The Ping G15 golf driver is one of the best drivers for maximum game improvement. Its innovative design is forgiving of errors aesthetically pleasing.

Pleasing Performance
The G15 has a new design that will be appealing to most golfers. It’s lightweight graphite shaft allows for more weight in the head without creating a heavy or off-balance swing. The head of the club has been slightly elongated from front to back. However, since the crown is made of ultra-thin material the G15′s head is actually 6 grams lighter than the G1. Because of this weight savings in the crown and shaft, Ping was able to add a sole weight to the bottom of the club, improving center of gravity and decreasing spin.

The face of the G15 is redesigned for maximum game improvement as well. The face of the club head is 7% larger than the Ping G10. The larger face gives more contact with the ball, while the elongated head makes for a higher MOI which adds up to a very forgiving club. Indeed, according to Ping, there is a 2 mph increase on balls hit off-center with the G15, compared to the G10. This stable club head is one of the greatest strengths of the Ping G15. It leads to lower spin and greater ball trajectory. It gives the ball a flat flight, that does not balloon.

Visually Satisfying
Visually, the Ping G15 is a club no one will be embarrassed to bring to the range. The crown has subtle, stylish red arrow that helps with positioning. Other than that the crown is a glossy black, with no distracting designs. The understated crown gives the Ping G15 a classy, elegant look. On the sole of the G15 are chrome designs highlighting the technology used in the G15. The face of the driver is as others in the line, with white grooves in the off center areas and a sweet spot with no grooves in it.

Final Analysis
Longtime fans of Ping will love this addition to their line of drivers, but even those who have never used Ping clubs will want to try the G15 out. It is one of the most forgiving clubs on the market, allowing the user to maximize their impact and game, with high levels of control and accuracy. The Ping G15 is available on line for around $250.

Callaway RAZR Hawk Review

The Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver takes advantage of cutting edge technology that allows for a discreet wall facing based on play to be used throughout the club without reducing the driver’s durability or stability. This technology, called forged carbon, permits a lighter or heavier wall development depending on the desire of manufacturing to meet specific needs based on a golfer’s style and ability.

From the graphite shaft construction, aerodynamics and weight system the Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver offers a unique approach to driving. Based on the superior development of this club you will find a longer shaft and wider club face will fit your style more appropriately than the club size you are used to playing with. Keep this in mind when selecting or testing your Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver.

The dynamics of the club open up the driving ability at any level of experience. The advanced face structure and aerodynamics will increase swing speed and increase the accuracy of impact off the tee.  The driver’s weight structure will shift on impact for improved follow through. All of which will increase your distance as much as twenty to fifty yards per strike.

During testing the driver was consistent in increased distance and speeds no matter the location of the tee, i.e. toe or heel impact yielding the same results as a proper facing shot. The comfort level was unmatched based on back swing and follow through and the accuracy of the strike was nearly true every time. Overall, testing was positive in weight distribution, swing, accuracy of drive and distance of drive.

The Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver is a handsome club. The all black head with silver embellishments is attractive and even intimidating. The graphite shaft is sharp and distinctly topped with a leather inspired grip. This club will produce power with every drive and the lightweight construction will reduce golfer fatigue off drives through eighteen holes.

An overall superior club that is a has to be a definite consideration no matter your skill level, the Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver delivers. With any club it will not make you a club pro but it will improve you game through longer and more accurate drives. The club can be purchased on line for around $350.
