TaylorMade R11 Driver Review
Taylor made really worked hard to bring this 3rd generation driver to market, and you can tell. At $399 ( around $250 street) it is a a bit pricey but the adjustable of the driver is key advantage and can make an average golfer see a whole new world of golf. The club comes with a 45.75″ Fujikura Blur shaft.
The R11 driver has 2 key adjustables on it. The loft which is adjustable via a red plate located on the bottom of the club head. Using a hex wrench one can adjust it to 8 different settings. This allows the golfer to choose from an open or a closed face ranging from 4 degrees open to 4 degrees closed.
The second item adjustable on this club is it’s weight ports. These are located in the heel and the toe and can alter a drive to a fade or draw, thus helping a golfer correct his game. In theory this can shift the drives outcome 25 yards in either direction.
The look of the club is unique as well with its white head and it has been aerodynamically redesigned to add a few more yards to your swing. A great club for any golfer to improve his game on.
