This week Kelly will be competing
at The LaSalle Bank Open at Kemper Lakes in Chicago, IL. He is looking
forward to getting back to the game after enduring a severe bout of food
poisoning that prevented him from finishing the Omaha Classic. It was
only the second time in his career that he has had to withdraw from a
tournament.
Traditionally, Indian Summer has been Kelly’s strongest playing season.
He calls Kemper Lakes, "One of the most challenging courses in the
United States," but feels well prepared because of his PGA successes
during the month of July.
Kelly will soon make a decision about which tour to pursue Buy.Com or
PGA. Now that he is in the second half of the tour season, he is scheduled
to play events through the month of October. Check this website’s
