FROM THE TOUR

VANCOUVER - AIR CANADA CHAMPIONSHIP

08/28/02- I have traveled across North America from the Wild, Wild West to the much cooler climate of Vancouver, British Columbia, stopping along the way in Sacramento, CA to play in Scott McCarron’s charity golf event.

This week I’m playing in the Air Canada Championship, a PGA Tour event. It also happens to be the area of my first professional victory; the 1989 Victoria Open on the Canadian Tour. After sweating my way through the West Texas heat in Midland, I look forward to 70 to 80 degree low humidity weather I experienced last time I was here. Hopefully the combination of the weather and my fond memories of victory will cool off my head and heat up my putter.

As always, my schedule is hectic this time of year but I have had a few brief trips home to New Orleans. I’m consulting on the construction of the new TPC of Louisiana, a project that will open in 2004 and is scheduled for PGA Tour play in 2005. I have some great new pictures to bring you up to date on our progress. Be sure to check back here for further updates.
